For all births: My courses & resources are for all births, from home birth to planned caesarean birth and everything in between. We prepare you for your preferred option and for navigating unexpected turns.

For all paths to parenthood: This means that every course I teach will be different from the last, because it is tailored to the parents’ or group’s needs. I teach from inclusive and unbiased resources which give a wide breadth of knowledge and confidence to support everyone.

Continued support: I will be on hand to answer questions throughout your pregnancy via WhatsApp, and our online community is there for you through the PregnaHub®. Taking the course is a very important part of the package, but it is just one of the many support benefits you will gain.

The Power of 3

The course focuses on the Power of 3; Your Choices, Your Body, Your Mind. During what can be an overwhelming time, it’s important to keep information simple, uncluttered and relevant.



A little bit about the theory…

When you’re faced with a new situation, fear often occurs. Especially, if that new thing is birth - which we’ve been conditioned all our life to believe has to be extremely painful and traumatic. In this state, our body moves into its ‘emergency’ mode, and produces adrenaline to help protect you (it’ll do this whether the thing you’re fearful of is a venomous snake in front of you, or of public speaking - your body doesn’t know the difference!). So, taking away the unknown through proper birth education, and learning how to relax through the mindfulness & hypnobirthing techniques, you’ll be set up to enjoy the process rather than fear it. (Yes I did say enjoy… I’d repeat my second birth in a flash if I could!)

Whilst Hypnobirthing and Mindfulness may be a new concept to some, it’s simply designed to build confidence and release fear during birth. It gives you the knowledge and tools to have the best birth for you and your baby, and is actually very logical. We’ll spend the first session talking about the physiology of how our brains work, how pathways are made and how hormones are produced. The course I teach - the Mindful Birth Group package - is based on the physiology AND the psychology of birth. It enables you to trust your body, instincts, and your baby by shifting the negative perception of birth being scary, painful and daunting.



Don’t see this as an add-on!

Traditionally, Hypnobirthing courses have been an ‘add-on’ to another antenatal course you may be taking. But the good news is this is more than a traditional Hypnobirthing course - the course I teach is absolutely everything you need. You needn’t waste money on lots of different courses in lots of different areas - this covers you from the 1st to the 4th trimester, with a whole host of added benefits included.

This isn’t a ‘perfect birth’ guarantee. I want you to feel that whatever happens in birth (even if unplanned circumstances arise), that it can be a really positive experience which we will help you plan for. Whether you birth at home, in hospital, in a midwife-led unit, or anywhere else - you can feel amazing about your choices and about your birth.
